3.122

"Dwelling together, one knows his nature and conduct:
Jealous and prone to anger,
He speaks good words among people,
Yet commits unlawful acts in secret.
Through contrivance he speaks falsehood;
The wise are able to perceive it.
Weeds and tares should be discarded and removed,
As well as hollow trees.
One who falsely claims to be a śramaṇa
Should, for his falsehood, be permanently expelled.
Once permanent expulsion has been executed
Upon those who practice evil and what is unlawful,
The pure dwell together—
Know that this is glorious and radiant.
In concord, carry out permanent expulsion together;
In concord, bring an end to suffering's limit."
