第四，一頌一句明化身就機傳通本戒。於中初三句各還本位，後二句誦傳本戒，謂此戒法諸佛所師，故云「本師戒」也。「十重」等，出戒相輕重數也。上來標源顯戒亦是戒所從來竟（文）。

Fourth, one verse and one line clarify that the transformation bodies approach capacities to transmit and propagate the original precepts. Therein, the first three lines have each return to their original seats, and the latter two lines recite and transmit the original precepts, meaning that this Dharma of the precepts is the master of all Buddhas; hence it is called "the fundamental master's precepts." "Ten major," and so forth, state the number of major and minor aspects of the precepts. Up to this point, marking the source to reveal the precepts is also the conclusion of [the section on] whence the precepts originated.
