第三、次第者，先身業、次語業為次第。問：何故身三別制、語四同遮？答：彼無相攝，此可通收故。又釋下文，說、毀及謗攝餘三故。

Third, regarding the order: the sequence is bodily karma first, followed by vocal karma. Question: Why are the three of the body instituted separately, whereas the four of speech are prohibited together? Answer: Those do not mutually subsume each other, whereas these can generally encompass them. Another explanation: in the subsequent text, "speaking," "defaming," and "slandering" subsume the remaining three.
