4.54

第七、通塞者，謂：一、闇夜不識，二、若睡眠他作覺相，三、若重病，四、若病新差無力，五、若在坐說法，六、若正聽法護說法者心，皆不犯。如《瑜伽戒》說。

Seventh, on permissibility and prohibition: namely, 1. Not recognizing them in the darkness of night; 2. If asleep and someone else displays signs of waking; 3. If seriously ill; 4. If newly recovered from illness and lacking strength; 5. If seated expounding the Dharma; 6. If currently listening to the Dharma and guarding the mind of the expounder of the Dharma—in all these cases, there is no offense, as stated in the Śīlapaṭala of the Yogācārabhūmi.
