二、次第者，前則順理求法倒說成謗，今則非分恃威苟求名利，故次明也。

Second, sequence: In the previous [precept], seeking the Dharma in accordance with principle resulted in topsy-turvy exposition and slander; here, inappropriately relying on authority, one basely seeks fame and profit; therefore it is explained next.
