5.108

第六，輕重者。約得物邊，犯初篇重戒；就恃威惱他邊，犯此輕垢。於此罪中，輕重有十：一、約所窺名利，有深有淺；二、約所附之官，有尊有卑；三、約所用威勢，有厚有薄；四、約所惱之苦，有輕有重；五、約能惱之情，有剋有慢；六、所得名利，有多有少；七、合說上六，有俱輕俱重；八、或重多輕少；九、或輕多重少；十、或輕重齊等。並有輕重，准釋可知。

Sixth, regarding severity: in terms of obtaining the goods, one violates the major precept of the first category; in terms of relying on authority and tormenting others, one violates this minor defilement. Within this offense, there are ten aspects of severity: 1. In terms of the fame and gain sought, there is deep and shallow; 2. In terms of the official attached to, there is noble and base; 3. In terms of the authority used, there is substantial and slight; 4. In terms of the suffering inflicted, there is light and heavy; 5. In terms of the tormenting intention, there is determination and arrogance; 6. Regarding the fame and gain obtained, there is much and little; 7. Combining the above six, they may be all light or all heavy; 8. Or heavier in more respects and lighter in fewer; 9. Or lighter in more respects and heavier in fewer; 10. Or equal in lightness and heaviness. All have degrees of severity, which can be understood by analogy with the explanation.
