六、輕重者，亦有十義：一、心通三性；二、境有持犯；三、謗有深淺；四、傳有達不達；五、鬪有多少；六、俱厚俱薄也；七、厚多薄少；八、薄多厚少；九、厚薄等；十、不等。皆有輕重，准釋可知。

Sixth, regarding severity, there are also ten meanings: 1. The mental state encompasses the three natures; 2. The object involves upholding or violating; 3. The slander is deep or shallow; 4. The communication reaches or does not reach [the other party]; 5. The quarreling is much or little; 6. Both are heavy or both are light; 7. More heavy and fewer light; 8. More light and fewer heavy; 9. Equal in heaviness and lightness; 10. Unequal. All have degrees of severity, which can be understood by analogy with the explanation.
