六、輕重者，有六義：一、約無慈心有厚薄；二、約所救眾生有尊卑；三、約所作救行有力逮不逮；四、約所救之苦有多少；五、合說有純輕純重；六、輕多重少；七、重多輕少。並准可知。

Sixth, regarding severity, there are six meanings: 1. In terms of lacking a compassionate mind, there is substantial and slight; 2. In terms of the sentient beings saved, there is noble and base; 3. In terms of the actions of rescue performed, there is adequate power and inadequate power; 4. In terms of the suffering relieved, there is much and little; 5. In combination, there are purely light and purely heavy; 6. Lighter in more respects and heavier in fewer; 7. Heavier in more respects and lighter in fewer. All can be understood by analogy.
