五、闕緣者，初二隨闕皆輕方便，後三隨闕皆重方便，准釋可知。

Fifth, lack of conditions: If either of the first two is lacking, it is a minor preparatory offense; if any of the latter three is lacking, it is a major preparatory offense. It can be known by applying the explanations.
