四、具緣者，五緣犯：一、自解大乘，二、新學來求，三、倚恃勢，四、起輕等心，五、不如法答，故犯也。

Fourth, completion of conditions: Five conditions constitute an offense: 1. Oneself understands the Mahāyāna; 2. A new student comes seeking; 3. Relying on authority and influence; 4. Giving rise to thoughts of contempt and the like; 5. Not answering in accordance with the Dharma. Thus an offense is committed.
