七、通塞者，此戒一向不開，以諸菩薩無有暫時捨大乘故。若癡狂、若數數習對治、煩惱力強、暫起還憶，一切不犯。

Seventh, regarding the permissible and barred: this precept is entirely non-permissible, because bodhisattvas never abandon the Mahāyāna even for a moment. If one is foolish, insane, frequently practicing antidotes, under strong force of afflictions, or momentarily gives rise to it and immediately recalls [the Dharma], in all such cases there is no offense.
