六、輕重者，約境賣良人最重，販奴婢應次，六畜應輕，死具最輕。約心有耎、中、上分輕重，約事為求多利、賣與惡人、令極苦等理應最重，反此是輕可知也。

Sixth, relative severity: regarding the object, selling a free person is the gravest, trading male or female slaves should be next, the six domestic animals should be lighter, and vessels for corpses are the lightest. Regarding mental attitude, there are light, medium, and top grades dividing severity; regarding the action, seeking great profit, selling to evil persons, causing extreme suffering, and the like in principle should be the gravest; the opposite of these is light; this can be understood.
