二、次第者，前明護戒心堅不避炎灰，今則存身長道微難皆離。

Second, regarding the sequence: the preceding clarified that the mind guarding the precepts is resolute and does not avoid flames and ashes; the present preserves the body to advance the Path, avoiding even minor dangers.
