"Disciples of the Buddha! With an evil mind, you must not watch the fighting of any men, women, and so forth, or the fighting of armies, battle arrays, soldiers, generals, robbers, and bandits. You also must not listen to the sounds of blowing conches, drums, horns, harps, zithers, flutes, reed pipes, lutes, singing, shouting, or musical performances; you must not engage in chupu, go, chess, tanqi, liubo, ball-bouncing, stone-throwing, pitch-pot, qiandao, badao, xingcheng, nail-mirror, yarrow-stalks, willow twigs, bowls, or skulls to practice divination; and you must not serve as an envoy for bandits. You must not do any of these things. If you intentionally do them, you commit a duṣkṛta offense."
