次解第三如忍差別，初、徵列，後、屬經。生生常行，前後相似，名種類忍；非唯一忍，名忍差別。迦利王加害，名極苦忍；五百生忍，是相續忍。依此經文，亦分為二。

Next, explaining the third, "distinctions of endurance," has first a query and enumeration, and then correlation with the sūtra. Practicing constantly life after life, with earlier and later being similar, is called endurance of types; not being merely one endurance is called distinctions of endurance. King Kali inflicting harm is called endurance of extreme suffering; endurance throughout five hundred lives is continuous endurance. Based on this sūtra text, it is also divided into two.
