如來欲說法時至成就者，釋七分中第三欲說時至分。問：今正說《無量義經》，云何言是欲說成就耶？答：望後說法華故為欲耳。以將欲明法華，故前說無量義，則無量義為法華之由序也。就文為二：初標章名。

"The accomplishment of the arrival of the time when the Tathāgata wishes to expound the Dharma" explains the third division among the seven divisions, the division of the arrival of the time wishing to expound. Question: Now he is just expounding the *Wuliangyi jing* (*Amitārthasūtra*); why is it said to be the accomplishment of wishing to expound? Answer: Looking forward to the subsequent preaching of the *Lotus Sūtra*, it is merely "wishing." Because he is about to elucidate the *Lotus Sūtra*, he previously expounded the *Amitārtha*; thus the *Amitārtha* serves as the prologue to the *Lotus Sūtra*. In the text there are two parts: first, stating the name of the heading.
