「以文殊能記彼事故」，此釋經文已曾親近供養過去無數諸佛之言也。更明文殊有二之義：一者得陀羅尼能記彼事故；二者文殊所作成就、因果成就，能現見彼法，故前列二成就章門。

"Because Mañjuśrī is able to remember those events": this explains the words of the sūtra text stating that he had already personally served and made offerings to countless past Buddhas. It further clarifies that Mañjuśrī has two meanings: first, having attained dhāraṇī, he is able to remember those events; second, Mañjuśrī's accomplishments of what had to be done and his accomplishments in causes and fruits allow him to directly perceive those dharmas; hence the two section headings on accomplishment were laid out earlier.
