五者誑驚怖，謂增上慢聲聞之人作如是心：云何如來誑於我等？如是驚怖故。
"Fifth is fear of deception: that is to say, śrāvakas of excessive pride (adhimāna) give rise to the thought, 'How could the Tathāgata deceive us?'—thus fearing on this account."
