所以勸知者，令行人識此七種過患，依經對治而捨離之，是故勸知。
The reason he exhorts to know it is to cause practitioners to recognize these seven kinds of faults and, relying on the sūtra's counteractions, abandon them; therefore he exhorts them to know it.
