3.66

「何等七種增上慢心」已下，釋上第二能治所治章門。就文為二：一者依經略釋、第二論主重釋。就釋七人，即成七別。一一中為二：第一出所為人，則明所治之病；二明能治之藥。「顛倒求諸功德增上慢心」者，此第一所治之病。

From "What are the seven kinds of minds of adhimāna" onward explains the second section heading above on the counteractions and what is to be counteracted. With respect to the text, there are two parts: 1. a brief explanation based on the sūtra; 2. a re-explanation by the treatise author. In explaining the seven kinds of people, it forms seven distinct parts. In each part, there are two: first, identifying the person for whose sake it is taught, which clarifies the affliction to be counteracted; second, clarifying the medicine of counteraction. "The mind of adhimāna that invertedly seeks merits" is the first affliction to be counteracted.
