Language
Classical Chinese

2.95

Question: You say that because it is without knowing, there is nothing it does not know. If there is nothing it does not know, does it not know the various phenomena? Since it knows the various phenomena, how can you again say that it has no discrimination? Answer: The various marks of all phenomena are like illusions and transformations. Yet although illusory elephants and horses are not without differences of long necks, trunks, hands, and feet, when a wise person contemplates them, would he ever say that there are definitely real elephants and horses to be discriminated?
