何者莊嚴大眾功德成就？偈言「天人不動眾，清淨智海生」故。何者莊嚴上首功德成就？偈言「如須彌山王，勝妙無過者」故。何者莊嚴主功德成就？偈言「天人丈夫眾，恭敬繞瞻仰」故。何者莊嚴不虛作住持功德成就？偈言「觀佛本願力，遇無空過者，能令速滿足，功德大寶海」故。

What is the accomplishment of the adornment of the merits of the assembly? Because the verse says: “The motionless assembly of devas and humans / is born from the ocean of pure wisdom.” What is the accomplishment of the adornment of the merits of the leader? Because the verse says: “Like the king of Mount Sumeru, / it is supreme, wondrous, and unsurpassed.” What is the accomplishment of the adornment of the merits of the master? Because the verse says: “The hosts of devas, humans, and heroic beings / revere, encircle, and gaze upon him.” What is the accomplishment of the adornment of the merits of sustaining power that does not act in vain? Because the verse says: “Contemplating the power of the Buddha's fundamental vow, / none who encounter it pass in vain; / it can swiftly cause them to be fully satisfied / in the great treasure ocean of merits.”
