〔補註〕心為主有四：迦葉佛云「欲生於汝意」，則以六識心為主。又云「意以思想生」，則以七識心為主。妄想是阿賴耶見分，則以八識心為主。含藏無性即白淨真如，則總之以圓覺妙心而為主也。

[Supplementary note:] That the mind is the master has four aspects: Kāśyapa Buddha said, "Desire is born from your intention," taking the mind of the sixth consciousness as master. He also said, "Intention arises from thought," taking the mind of the seventh consciousness as master. Deluded thoughts are the perceiving aspect of the ālayavijñāna, taking the mind of the eighth consciousness as master. Being storehouse-like without intrinsic nature is the pure true suchness; taking them collectively, the wondrous mind of perfect enlightenment is the master.
