"When controlled in a single place" refers to the samādhi of no dual thoughts, which counteracts and severs the obstacle of the differentiated nature of the mind. The "single place" refers to the mind. If one controls it at the mind, the four differentiated parts naturally cease. "There is nothing that cannot be accomplished" refers to the samādhi that produces manifold virtues, which counteracts and severs the obstacle of losing the virtues. The text is slightly out of sequence: according to the treatise it comes after, but here it follows the sūtra text and sits in the middle. "Bend and subdue your minds" refers to the samādhi of being pliant and unmoving, which counteracts and severs the obstacle of restlessness and lack of regulation. Having realized the benefit of controlling the mind, one therefore vigorously bends and subdues it, not allowing it to move briskly and rashly.
