〔補註〕戒定三學，皆以莊嚴法身，唯有慚恥方能習學，故云第一。

[Supplementary note:] The three trainings of precepts and concentration all serve to adorn the dharmakāya; only with shame and conscience can one practice and train, hence it is called foremost.
