〔補註〕王戎，晉人，位至三公，自執牙籌會計財產，不知足故也。夏屋，大屋也。《詩》云「夏屋渠渠」是也。

[Supplementary note:] Wang Rong was a man of the Jin dynasty who reached the rank of the Three Excellencies; he personally held ivory tallies to calculate his wealth and property because he lacked contentment. “Spacious mansion” (夏屋) means a great house; as the Book of Odes says, “Spacious mansions, vast and grand.”
