「若說世俗至阿毘達磨」者，釋頌下句。言世俗者，有漏之法隱障真理名世，事相顯現隨順俗情名俗。又解：有漏之法可毀壞故、有對治故，名為世俗。即世名俗，即世俗名阿毘達磨，持業釋也。

Regarding 'If conventional ... Abhidharma': this explains the lower line of the verse. 'Conventional' (saṃvṛti) means: sāsrava dharmas conceal and obstruct the true reality, which is called 'mundane' (saṃ-); their phenomenal marks appear and accord with worldly sentiments, which is called 'conventional' (-vṛti). Another explanation: sāsrava dharmas can be destroyed and possess counteractions; hence they are called 'conventional'. The mundane is itself the conventional, and this conventional is itself Abhidharma, which is a karmadhāraya compound.
