On "The commentary states: [...] this obtains the name of treasury": this explains "because it includes its ultimate meaning," where containing is called a treasury. Because all the ultimate meanings in that fundamental Abhidharma treatise enter into the inclusion of this treatise, this treatise obtains the name of treasury. The treasury of the Abhidharma is called Abhidharmakośa; this is a tatpuruṣa compound. Another explanation says: "treasury" means core and solidity; this treatise is the solid meaning of that fundamental Abhidharma. Thus the *Nyāyānusāra* says: "'Treasury' means core and solidity, just like the heartwood of a tree." The explanation says: The treasury of a tree refers to the heart of the tree; among the solidity of a tree, nothing surpasses the tree's heart, so the solidity of the tree is called the tree's treasury. This treasury belongs to the tree; the tree's own treasury is called the tree's treasury, and the analogy to the Dharma can be understood accordingly.
