「頌曰至別得非擇滅」者，此即頌答。此三行頌，標前八品名，總標綱要分。初一句，總明有漏、無漏法，標〈界〉、〈根〉二品；次三句，別明有漏法，標〈世〉、〈業〉、〈隨眠〉三；後兩行頌，別明無漏法，標〈賢聖〉、〈智〉、〈定〉三品。前之序分及此總標，以文少故，寄在〈界品〉中明。又解：此頌但標〈界〉、〈根〉二品，以此三頌通明有漏、無漏法故。又解：此頌唯標〈界品〉，於〈界品〉中初標顯故。
