「如從種子至應如是知」者，釋初頌，總有五喻。言惑得裹業者，謂惑及惑得俱能裹業，然惑親裹、得是疎裹。故《正理》云「煩惱裹業能感後有，非獨能感。」餘文可知。

Regarding "Just as from a seed... should be known thus": this explains the first stanza; altogether there are five similes. As for the statement that the acquisitions of afflictions enwrap karma: this means that both afflictions and the acquisitions of afflictions can enwrap karma; however, afflictions directly enwrap it, while acquisitions distantly enwrap it. Therefore the Nyāyānusāra says: "Afflictions enwrap karma, enabling it to induce future existence; it cannot induce it alone." The rest of the text is easy to understand.
