「異於我慢類體是何」者，論主問。類性即是我慢，我慢是我見之類，故名類性。故言異於我慢類性是何。

[On the Kośa's statement:] "Distinct from the conceit of 'I am', what is the entity of this category?": the author of the treatise asks. The category is itself the conceit of "I am", and the conceit of "I am" is a category of the view of self; therefore it is called a category. Hence he asks: distinct from the conceit of "I am", what is this category?
