「日等宮殿何有情居」者，此下第八明天器。就中，一明天所居器、二明天器近遠。就明天所居器中，一正明天器、二便顯餘義。就正明天器中，一明四天王器、二明三十三天器、三明空居天。此下明四天王天器，將明問起。

Regarding "What sentient beings dwell in the palaces of the sun and so forth?": From here down is the eighth section, explaining the receptacle [world] of the devas. Within this, first, it explains the receptacle where the devas dwell; second, it explains the proximity and distance of the devas' receptacle. Within explaining the receptacle where the devas dwell, first, it directly explains the receptacle of the devas; second, it incidentally reveals other meanings. Within directly explaining the receptacle of the devas, first, it explains the receptacle of the Cāturmahārājakāyika devas; second, it explains the receptacle of the Trāyastriṃśa devas; third, it explains the devas dwelling in the sky. From here down, it explains the receptacle of the Cāturmahārājakāyika devas; about to explain it, the question is raised.
