11.78

「理實圓生至如順風熏」者，論主正解。天香德勝能逆風熏，越於樹界五十踰繕那，非能遠至，如順風熏能越樹界百踰繕那。

"In reality, the Pārijāta... just as it scents with the wind": this is the author's correct explanation. The divine fragrance is superior in virtue and can scent against the wind, exceeding the bounds of the tree by fifty yojanas; yet it cannot reach as far as when scenting with the wind, where it can exceed the bounds of the tree by one hundred yojanas.
