「頌曰至故與佛非等」者，初句答初問，第二句第三句及第四句中「逆次」兩字答第二問，第四句中「獨如佛」三字答第三問，第五、第六句答第四問，第七、第八句答第五問。

"Regarding 'The verse says [...] therefore they are not equal to a Buddha': the first line answers the first question; the second line, third line, and the two words 'reverse order' in the fourth line answer the second question; the three words 'sole, like a Buddha' in the fourth line answer the third question; the fifth and sixth lines answer the fourth question; the seventh and eighth lines answer the fifth question.
