「亦由數習至亦恒隨轉」者，經部答。非但有依由思力故福等增長，此無依福業亦由數習緣彼佛等勝思力故，乃至夢中敬思種子亦恒增長相續隨轉。

"Also through frequent habituation ... also constantly accompanies" is the Sautrāntika's reply. Not only does merit with a support increase through the power of volition; such supportless meritorious karma also, through the power of superior volition directed toward those Buddhas and so forth by frequent habituation, has its seeds of reverent volition constantly increase and accompany the continuum, even in dreams.
