「如前所說至由誰而生」者，就此品中，一明業體性、二釋經諸業、三雜明諸業。就明業體性中，一正明業體性；二諸門分別業；三廣明表、無表。就正明業體中，一明所造業、二明能造大。就明所造業中，一明二、三業；二明五種業。此下第一明二、三業。牒前問起。

"As previously explained... produced by what?" Within this chapter: first, explaining the essential nature of karma; second, interpreting the various karmas of the sūtras; third, miscellaneous explanations of various karmas. Within explaining the essential nature of karma: first, directly explaining the essential nature of karma; second, distinguishing karma through various aspects; third, explaining in detail manifestation (vijñapti) and non-manifestation (avijñapti). Within directly explaining the substance of karma: first, explaining the karma that is produced; second, explaining the primary elements that produce it. Within explaining the karma that is produced: first, explaining the two and three karmas; second, explaining the five kinds of karma. From here down is the first: explaining the two and three karmas.
