「然經部說至別類色體」者，此下論主述經部義，破說一切有部形色實有。此即釋頌第七句形亦非實有，明無實形依顯假立。謂諸顯色安布不同，假立長、短、方、圓形色，如文可知。

[On the text,] "However, the Sautrāntika says … distinct category of corporeal substance": Below, the author of the treatise sets forth the Sautrāntika doctrine, refuting the Sarvāstivāda [claim] that shape-matter is substantially existent. This explains the seventh line of the verse, "shape is also not substantially real," clarifying that there is no real shape, but that it is nominally designated on the basis of color. That is, based on the different arrangements of color-matter, the shapes of long, short, square, and round are nominally established, as can be understood from the text.
