"Furthermore, not doing it oneself [...] because this nature is not different": this is the fourth proof from karma not done by oneself. Furthermore, one does not do the two bodily and four vocal [actions] oneself, but merely dispatches another to do them. If there were no uninformative karma, they should not constitute paths of karma. For the informative [karma] of dispatching another is not subsumed under that path of karma, because this informative karma is merely a preliminary application, and is not yet the actual performance of the action to be done. Once the one who was dispatched performs the act of killing or the like, the nature of the informative karma of the commander who dispatched him does not differ. Since no different class of bodily or vocal karma has arisen, then dispatching another to act should entail no path of karma. Yet in fact it does constitute a path of karma; therefore we know that at that time, a separate path of uninformative karma has been engendered.
