「此不相違已發戒故」者，迦濕彌羅答。我今所說與此《大名經》亦不相違，受三歸等時已發五戒故。

"This is not contradictory, because the precepts have already arisen" is the Kaśmīra reply. What we explain now does not contradict the *Mahānāma-sūtra*, because at the time of taking the three refuges and so forth, the five precepts have already arisen.
