「頌曰至謂約能持說」者，此即第二會釋經文。上兩句經部引經為難，第三句說一切有部通釋。

"The verse states: ... it is said in terms of ability to maintain" is the second part: harmonizing and explaining the scriptural texts. The first two lines are the Sautrāntika citing a sūtra as an objection; the third line is the Sarvāstivāda's general resolution.
