「何緣於彼至唯遮飲酒」者，難。《正理》云「何緣一切離性罪中立四種為近事學處，然於一切離遮罪中於近事律儀唯制離飲酒？

[On the phrase,] "For what reason among those [...] only abstaining from liquor is prohibited?": This is an objection. The Nyāyānusāra states: "For what reason, among all abstinences from natural offenses, are four kinds established as the upāsaka's training rules, yet among all abstinences from prescriptive offenses, within the upāsaka discipline only abstaining from drinking liquor is prohibited?"
