「說一晝夜至離嚴飾晝夜」者，此下第三明近住律儀。就中，一明受方法、二明具八支、三明受戒人。此即第一明受方法。

"Stated to be for one day and night... free from adornment for a day and night" begins the third part below, explaining the fasting restraint (upavāsa-saṃvara). Within this: first, explaining the method of taking [it]; second, explaining the possession of the eight limbs; third, explaining the person taking the precepts.
