「如是律儀至說此名長養」者，敘近住異名。布灑他，唐言長養，舊云布薩，訛也，故引頌證名長養也。

"Such a restraint... this is called nourishment" recounts the alternative names for upavāsa. *Poṣadha* (*布灑他*), in the Tang language, means nourishment (*長養*); the old rendering *posatha* (*布薩*) was corrupt; thus the verse is cited as proof for the name nourishment.
