「如是三業至其相云何」者，此下第四明三時業。就中，一明四種業、二明四業別、三明中有造業、四明定受業相、五明現法果業、六明業即受果。此即第一明四種業。牒前問起。因明三受業，便明四業，故不引經。

Regarding 'What are the characteristics of these three karmas?': below, fourth, the karma of the three times is explained. Within this: 1. explaining the four kinds of karma; 2. explaining the distinctions among the four karmas; 3. explaining creating karma in intermediate existence; 4. explaining the characteristics of karma of determinate experience; 5. explaining karma with results in the present life; 6. explaining karma directly experiencing results. This is the first, explaining the four kinds of karma. It restates the preceding question to introduce it. Because it explains karma of the three feelings, it accordingly explains the four karmas, and therefore does not cite a sūtra.
