Regarding 'That to be experienced in the present life, up to matures successively later': this explains the names of the three determinate ones separately. 'To be experienced in the present life': 'present life' refers to the present bodily existence; 'experience' refers to maturation. It means that creating karma in this life, one experiences the maturation fruit in this very life. 'Birth' means the generic likeness (nikāya-sabhāga). 'To be experienced in the next birth' means that creating karma in this life, one experiences the maturation fruit in the next, second birth. 'Birth' refers to the place of birth. 'Karma to be experienced subsequently' means that creating karma in this life, from the third birth onward, even across many births, are all called 'subsequent', because they are subsequent to the second birth. In these subsequent stages, the fruit does not arise all at once, but matures successively.
