15.99

「五由壽命至有轉易故」者，五由壽命斷壞故捨。本得處中善、惡無表由所依身，以捨命故、彼所依止眾同分身有轉易故，無表便斷。《婆沙》名由所依，《雜心》名若身，義皆無違。

"Fifth, due to lifespan... because there is a change": this means abandonment due to the severance and destruction of lifespan. Originally, the intermediate good and evil avijñapti was obtained by relying on the body; because life is relinquished and that body of nikāya-sabhāgatā upon which it relies undergoes a change, the avijñapti is severed. In the Mahāvibhāṣā it is named "due to the basis"; in the Saṃyuktābhidharmahṛdaya it is named "if the body"; none of the meanings are contradictory.
