Regarding "All anāsrava karma... because their natures are contradictory": This explains the fourth line. All anāsrava karmas can sever the previous three; they are called "non-dark" because they are undefiled. They are also called "non-white" because they cannot bring about white vipāka. This expression "non-white" is based on their inability to bring about white vipāka results; relying on this single characteristic, it is a statement of the Buddha's intentional meaning, not the definitive, explicit meaning. If based on explicit teaching, it is also called "white": the sūtra states that aśaikṣa dharmas are called "white", and the treatise states that undefiled dharmas are called "white". From this it is known that all anāsrava dharmas are also called "white". As for the statement that the anāsrava has no vipāka: because it does not fall within the three realms, and because its nature is contradictory to the dharmas that fall within the three realms and transmigrate in saṃsāra, it therefore cannot produce a vipāka result.
