16.34

「由此能感至故名惡行」者，釋惡行名。感非愛果，惠所訶厭，故名為惡。動轉捷利，故名為行。此行即惡，故名惡行，持業釋也。

Regarding "Because it can produce... it is therefore called evil conduct": This explains the name 'evil conduct'. It produces undesirable results and is condemned and deplored by wisdom; hence it is called "evil". Its movement is swift and sharp; hence it is called "conduct". This conduct is itself evil, hence called "evil conduct"—a karmadhāraya compound.
