[On the question,] "Right view and wrong view [...] how do they constitute good and bad?": This is an inquiry. In the case of bodily and vocal actions, if one abstains from killing and so forth, one can benefit others, so they may be called good actions; if one kills living beings and so forth, one can harm and afflict others, so they may be called bad actions. Right view and wrong view are by nature deliberation and reside solely in the mental consciousness; since they lack intentional contemplation desiring in actual situations to benefit or harm others, how do they constitute good and bad?
