「頌曰至三除前所除」者，就頌答中總有四類：初兩句為一類，次兩句為第二類，次兩句為第三類，後兩句為第四類。

[On the phrase] “The verse says … three, excluding what was excluded previously”: in the verse's answer there are four categories in total: the first two lines are the first category, the next two lines are the second category, the next two lines are the third category, and the last two lines are the fourth category.
